Plugin Setup

Access Terms & Conditions

Navigate to Echo AI menu in WordPress Admin Dashboard.
You must review and accept the EchoAI Terms & Conditions. This is necessary to ensure transparency, as EchoAI interacts with third-party services like OpenAI, Weaviate, Vercel, and Stripe.

Indexing

Once the plugin is activated and settings are configured, EchoAI will begin indexing your website’s published posts, including the title, content, author, tags, categories, and date. By default, your posts and pages will be indexed, but you can enable other post types (e.g., custom post types) or disable any post type if desired.

Plan Selection

Free plans come with limited chat messages per month and a limited number of indexed contents.
If you need higher usage limits, you can upgrade directly from the EchoAI plugin menu.

Setup Page

After the initial indexing is completed, you can access the Setup Page at any time from the EchoAI menu. This is useful for indexing multiple posts at once, such as when you import new posts or enable new post types.

Adding AI Assistant to Your Website

Option 1: Floating Button

  1. Once the initial indexing is complete, a floating button will automatically appear in the bottom-right corner of your website.

  2. You can change its position or disable the floating button from Admin Dashboard > EchoAI > Settings.

  3. You can also replace the default EchoAI icon with your own custom icon from the same page.

Option 2: Using Gutenberg Block (Recommended)

  1. Open the page or post where you want to add the chatbot.

  2. Click Add Block (+) and search for EchoAI Assistant.

  3. Customize the position and appearance using the block settings.

  4. Save or publish the page/post.

Option 3: Using Shortcode

  1. Open the page or post where you want to add the chatbot.

  2. Add the following shortcode:
    [echo_ai]

  3. Save or publish the page/post.

Managing Paid Plans

You can upgrade your plan at any time by navigating to Admin Dashboard > EchoAI and selecting a higher plan.
